We played our first gig in Kuwait today. It was in an area that the people are in lockdown for twelve hours prior to their departing flight, so we pretty much had a captive audience. Kind of like Fulsom Prison. As a mission, it could not have been more successful. The mission being, entertain and engage the troops. A+ job done by Jodi and Jamie in this area. As a musical venture, well there’s always lots more to be done. From a sound technician’s point of view- once again it blew, but for different reasons, most having to do with my ineptness in this area. Its kind of like I being the king monkey- I don’t know much, just more than the other chimps. About sound, that is. What’s important is that we kicked ass in the area of the mission itself, and here are some pics to prove it.

Well, I hope you can see from the pictures, that we had a great time, and also had some great guys to play for. This is why we are here, and its good to get one in the bag. James Out!
